A basic question about a web design program.
Hi to All,
I wanted to have your ideas about a good web design program for customizing whmcs and zomex templates.
I am new to programming, have knowledge about .net mostly and new to PHP and WHMCS. So, I use for .net projects Visual Studio
But for PHP, it's a little bit tiring to edit all the .php and .tlp files with notepad++
))
Please don't lough at me, because I am serious about that :P
I would really appreciate any recommendations on that topic.
Thank you...

Hello Ilter,
Great post thanks.
Believe it or not I would actually recommend Notepad++ on Windows. Dreamweaver for example doesn't understand WHMCS's tempting structure (they use Smarty framework). If you edit the header.tpl file with it, it'll generally add the closing </body></html> tags which causes issues.
Since switching to a Macbook I use Coda which is sort of like Notepad++ on a Mac.
Those are what I'd recommend for editing all default pages (I wish there was a cooler software I could share but Notepad++ is a really good choice).

Not sure if it will help, but I use a combination of Notepad++ and the powerful Coffeecup.com Web Editor when I work on sites for my customers.
But most of the time I use Notepad++ unless I am dealing with images, audio or videos. I have not had any problems with editing when I use Coffeecup Editors. Hope that helps you...

I am actually using Dreamweaver CS6 and have no issues like you were describing jack. I am still learning like everyone else, but it seems to work fine for me so far. I am looking into the others that everyone has mentioned here to see how they work and get a better feel for multiple systems. Never hurts to learn more.

Notepad plus is a great choice, not only that it is very light weight! meaning low system resources yay!!
